Coldwater, Michigan – Richard Wayne Hewitt Jr., affectionately known as "Uncle" and "Godfather" by his loved ones, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 25, 2024, at the age of 62. His death marks the end of a life filled with generosity, love, and unwavering support for those around him.

About a month before his passing, Richard received the devastating news that he had only weeks to months left to live.
