Cambridge, Massachusetts – Rick Marchant, a 42-year-old former membership director at the Capital Region Chamber of Commerce, has been reported missing. Marchant was last seen in Cambridge on August 21, 2024. He had been staying with his sister and her family in Billerica since August 17.
Marchant, who is from the Albany, New York area, may be headed back to his home state. He is described as 6 feet 1 inch tall, weighing around 160 pounds. Concern for his safety is growing among his family and friends.
A Facebook post by Brandon D. Conner, a friend of Marchant’s from Albany, highlighted the urgency of the situation. Conner wrote, "A good friend of mine from the Albany NY area is missing. Rick Marchant if somehow you get this please let someone know. Please share this no matter where you are in the world. It takes the right person to remember something."
Authorities are asking anyone with information about Rick Marchant’s whereabouts to contact the Billerica Police Department at 978-667-1212. The family is hopeful that sharing this information widely will help bring Rick home safely.
