Robert Kahlert Passes Away in Philadelphia, Family Seeks Support for Funeral Costs

Philadelphia, PA – Robert Kahlert, a beloved family man and die-hard Philadelphia sports fan, passed away early this morning. His daughter, Jennifer Stewart, shared the heartbreaking news on Facebook, expressing her sorrow and informing family and friends of his passing.

Jennifer wrote, “So deeply saddened to say that my dad Robert Kahlert passed early this morning. I’m sorry to anyone who is finding out this way, but wanted to make sure that all family and friends hear about his passing, and can be informed of any arrangements. Please keep us all in your prayers.”

The news has prompted an outpouring of condolences on social media. Terry Gerretz commented, “I’m so sorry for ur loss Jen, please let me know if or when you have something for him.” Laurie Pharo expressed, “So sorry for your loss,” while Anne Barber Deegan simply stated, “Prayers.” Other friends and family, including Jackie Kohl, Christine Huston-Medina, and Jessica Szczepanski, also shared their sympathies, expressing support and prayers for Jennifer and her family during this difficult time.

To assist with funeral costs, a GoFundMe campaign has been launched by Samantha Moscherosch on behalf of Jennifer Kahlert. The fundraiser, titled “Help Jennifer with Robert Kahlert’s Funeral Costs,” has so far raised $525 of its $5,000 goal. Donations have been made by several individuals, including Jason Neill, who contributed $250, and Samantha Logue, who donated $100.

Samantha Moscherosch, the fundraiser organizer, described Robert as a man who deeply loved his family and grandchildren and had a passion for music and Philadelphia sports. She emphasized the family’s need for support to help alleviate the financial burden of funeral arrangements.

The family is still finalizing funeral details and will provide updates as soon as they are available. In the meantime, they are grateful for the love and support shown by the community.
