Hamilton, ON – Rosa Al Mawardi DeMedeiros was found deceased on Monday, August 26, 2024. Her sudden passing has left her family and friends in deep mourning. To support the funeral expenses, her daughters have launched a GoFundMe campaign.
Rosa, who had recently celebrated becoming a grandmother for the first time just two weeks before her death, did not have life insurance. Her daughter, Diana Branco, is leading the fundraising efforts to help cover the unexpected costs. The family is seeking to raise $12,000 and has already received $485 from seven donors.
On Facebook, family and friends have shared their condolences. Ky Gauthier posted, “Unfortunately on Monday my step dad sister Rosa was found deceased. Her daughters have started a go fund me to help with funeral cost, anything helps. She will be missed dearly.”
