Brandon, Manitoba – The community is mourning the tragic loss of Ryker Ethelston, who passed away on August 20, 2024, after suffering a spontaneous brain bleed. The sudden and unexpected nature of Ryker’s death has left his family and friends in deep grief, with the entire community rallying around them in support.

Ryker’s passing was confirmed by his family on August 20, 2024. He is remembered fondly by his parents, April and Craig, and his brothers, Brody and Hunter. The Ethelston family, known and loved by many, is now navigating this heartbreaking loss.

To support the family during this difficult time, Regan Wood has organized a fundraiser, aiming to raise $10,000 CAD to help alleviate the financial burdens that have come with this tragic event. As of today, the fundraiser has raised $2,445 CAD from 27 donations. Contributions have come from various individuals, including a recent donation of $100 CAD from Jeff, Krista, Cole, and Lauryn Adams, and a top donation of $200 CAD from Trina Bandura.

Lindsey Kyle expressed her deep sympathy on Facebook, stating, “I can’t imagine the heartache Ryker’s family & friends are going through. Please, if you are able to, consider donating to Ryker’s family.”
