San Jose, CA – Daisy Castillo, a beloved resident of San Jose, was tragically killed in a car accident on August 25, 2024. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning when officers from the San José Police Department responded to a distress call at approximately 4:19 AM.
Upon arrival at the 400 block of North 33rd Street, officers found Daisy Castillo lying unresponsive and bleeding on the highway. Despite the immediate efforts of medical personnel, Daisy was pronounced dead shortly after being transported to a nearby hospital.

Arturo Castillo, who is managing the fundraiser, expressed the family’s gratitude for any support, stating, “We hope you can help us make it easier on our family by taking away some of the pressure of paying some of the expenses and we also hope this brings justice for her passing.”
