Lanahan, who was last seen or heard from on August 13, 2024, has not been located since. The Alaska State Troopers have been involved in the search, but details regarding his clothing or last known whereabouts remain unclear.
Lanahan, who has gone missing twice before, was previously listed under a Silver Alert due to at-risk medical conditions. This time, however, no specific information about his condition has been disclosed. The Alaska Solstice Search Dogs (AKSSD) have been actively participating in the search efforts, as reported by their Facebook page.
