Search Intensifies for Missing Gabriel Calfbossribs in Browning, Montana as Community Shares Prayers and Support

Browning, Montana – The search for Gabriel Calfbossribs, a 42-year-old man last seen on August 3, 2024, continues as local authorities and the community rally together in hopes of his safe return. Gabriel, who stands at 6’1" and weighs 260 lbs, has brown hair and brown eyes. Blackfeet Law Enforcement Services (BLES), along with Homeland Security and MMU Agent Steven Redcloud, have been actively involved in the search, meeting with Gabriel’s family to provide updates and map out the areas that have been searched so far.

An Incident Command Post has been established at the Browning Fire Cache, with a briefing scheduled for 8:30 AM on August 20, 2024, for anyone wishing to join the search efforts. Volunteers are encouraged to coordinate with Sarah Wolftail, Homeland Security Director, to ensure all efforts are organized and effective. Tips regarding Gabriel’s whereabouts can be submitted through the BLES mobile app or by contacting the BLES Dispatch Center.

Stacey Gilham Keller emphasized the need to share the information widely, while Monica Rattler recounted a recent encounter with Gabriel, describing him as a "gentleman and kind-hearted" and expressing her hope for his safe return. Others, like Mary Evans and Cheryl HeavyRunner, offered their prayers, with Cheryl adding, "Prayers and Smudge for safe return, Amen."
