Challis, Idaho – The search for 63-year-old Ronald Wayne Jenks, who was last seen in the last week of July at Yankee Fork State Park in Challis, Idaho, is intensifying as local authorities and the community come together in hopes of finding him. Ronald Jenks, described as a 5’9" man weighing approximately 170 pounds, was last known to be driving a light gray Dodge Dakota with Idaho license plate V41144.
The Custer County Sheriff’s Office has officially listed Jenks as missing and is urging anyone with information about his whereabouts to contact them immediately. The urgency of the situation has been amplified by concerns expressed on social media, where community members have shared their thoughts and prayers for Jenks.
Facebook user Charity Gordon voiced a common sentiment: “I don’t understand how Idaho can be missing their Ranger for almost a month before word gets out?!? Ron is an awesome man. Lots of prayers going out.”
