Search Intensifies for Missing Virginia Beach Resident Martrell "Andre" Lamar in Knotts Island, NC

Knotts Island, North Carolina – The community is rallying to locate Martrell "Andre" Lamar, a 42-year-old male originally from Virginia Beach, VA, who has been missing since June 2024. Martrell was last seen by his family and last made contact with his mother on July 2nd, 2024.

Martrell’s last known location was in Knotts Island, NC, where he had been living with his girlfriend. According to his family, Martrell called his mother on July 2nd and mentioned that he and his girlfriend had argued, and someone was coming to pick her up. Later that day, he was seen walking towards a convenience store in Knotts Island. It is highly unusual for Martrell not to be in touch with his mother, which has raised significant concern among his family and friends.
