Newton County, Texas – A devastating car accident in Newton County on Friday afternoon claimed the lives of two residents, Sherill Reese and Vyazma Todd.
According to authorities, 65-year-old Sherill Reese, a resident of Newton, was driving a pickup truck when he tragically lost control of the vehicle near Bleakwood. The truck veered off the road, leading to a fatal crash. Both Reese and his passenger, 37-year-old Vyazma Todd, also from Newton, were pronounced dead at the scene.
This tragic incident has deeply affected the Newton community as they mourn the loss of two of their own. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
