Statesville Community Mourns the Loss of William Coleman, a Beloved Leader, as Family Seeks Support for Burial Costs

Statesville, NC – The community of Statesville is grieving the loss of William Coleman, a respected leader and cherished figure in the area, who passed away yesterday evening surrounded by his family. William Coleman, who was known for his warm smile and positive influence on everyone he encountered, did not have a life insurance policy, leaving his family in need of financial assistance to cover his burial expenses.

A GoFundMe campaign has been organized by Daniel Coleman to help raise funds for the burial costs. As of now, the fundraiser has garnered $865 of the $6,500 goal, with contributions coming from 18 donors. Among the donations, $200 was given by an anonymous donor, marking the top donation, while Lindsay Givens contributed $50 as the most recent donation.

The news of William Coleman’s passing has deeply impacted the community, with many taking to social media to express their condolences and encourage support for the Coleman family. Nadaka Hasan posted on Facebook, “One of my Elders passed recently, please help his family to help him rest peacefully.”

The Coleman family is hopeful that the community will continue to rally around them during this difficult time, offering both emotional and financial support to ensure that William Coleman is laid to rest with the dignity and respect he deserves.
