Sunshine Coast RCMP Seek Public’s Help in Finding Missing Sechelt Woman, Mellisa Anne Wilson

Sechelt, BC – The Sunshine Coast RCMP are actively searching for 46-year-old Mellisa Anne Wilson, who has been missing since Wednesday, August 7th. Mellisa, who is described as a 5’9" female with a slim to medium build, blond-brown hair, and blue eyes, was last seen in Sechelt, BC. There are concerns that she may have taken a ferry to Vancouver on the day she disappeared.

Mellisa’s family is deeply concerned about her whereabouts, as she has not been seen or heard from for several days. The RCMP is urging anyone with information on Mellisa’s location to contact them immediately at 604-885-2266, referencing file number 2024-5985.

Community members have taken to social media to express their concern and hope for Mellisa’s safe return. Sunshine Coast RCMP also shared a post on their official Facebook page asking for the public’s help in locating her.

One community member posted, "Sunshine Coast RCMP are looking for anyone with information on the whereabouts of Mellisa Anne Wilson from Sechelt. If anyone has any information, please contact the RCMP. We hope for her safe return."

The search for Mellisa continues as the community and authorities work together to find her. The RCMP encourages anyone who might have seen her or has any information to come forward as soon as possible.
