Paducah, Kentucky – Tina Rives, a beloved figure known for her service in the United States Air Force Reserves and her vibrant entrepreneurial spirit, passed away on August 15, 2024, at Baptist Health Paducah. Born on May 4, 1964, in Paducah, Tina was a 1983 graduate of Lowes High School and later became a proud veteran, serving her country with honor.
After her military career, Tina ventured into the business world, owning several successful enterprises in Florida. Her dynamic personality and business acumen allowed her to thrive in these roles. Upon retirement, she returned to her roots in Kentucky, where she founded the “Anything Goes Trading Company,” reflecting her love for her hometown and her desire to stay connected with her community.
Tina’s life was deeply rooted in her Baptist faith, and she found immense joy in the outdoors, particularly through activities like boating, skiing, and fishing. Her adventurous spirit was matched by her love for animals and her passion for travel, which took her to many places around the world.
Tina is survived by her mother, Martha Davidson Rives of Boaz, her brothers, Randy J. Rives of Boaz and Sidney Tim Rives (Loretta) of Hickory, as well as six nieces and nephews and numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Ruben Vasteene Rives.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at 2:00 pm at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Homes, with Rev. Blake Jackson officiating. Burial will follow at Liberty Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the service begins at 2:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Mayfield/Graves County Animal Shelter or the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
