Tioga, New York – The Tioga County Sheriff’s Office is urgently seeking the public’s help in locating 47-year-old Mark J. Klotz, who was last seen on July 10, 2024. Mr. Klotz was reported missing after he was observed leaving an address on Church Street in the Town of Tioga and heading towards the Village of Nichols. It is believed that he may have been making his way to Pennsylvania.

Mark J. Klotz is described as a white male, standing 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing approximately 170 pounds, with brown and grey hair, blue eyes, and possibly a goatee. Notable features include a tattoo of a gecko on his right shoulder and Chinese writing on both legs.

The Sheriff’s Office urges anyone with information about Mr. Klotz’s whereabouts to contact Investigator John Cornwell at 607-687-1010 or leave a tip via the official website.

Community members have taken to social media to express their concern for Mr. Klotz. Mary Ann Pipher posted, "Poor man is out there lost and confused… I hope he is found safe." The case has raised questions about the delay in publicizing the missing person report, with Kailyn Edwards asking, "Why is it just being posted now if he was last seen July 10?"

As the search continues, the community is urged to remain vigilant and report any potential sightings or information to the authorities.
