Tondol National High School Mourns the Loss of Evangeline Celeste, Esteemed Columnist and Promising Journalist

Evangeline Celeste, a bright and dedicated student at Tondol National High School, passed away yesterday, leaving the community in mourning. Evangeline was a talented columnist for White Sand and had served in this role for the past two school years. Her contributions to the publication were deeply valued, and her work as a campus journalist will be remembered with great respect.

Evangeline’s dedication to her craft extended beyond her school, as she represented Tondol National High School in the 2024 Division Schools Press Conference, competing in the Copyreading and Headline Writing category in Filipino. Her exceptional skills and passion for journalism earned her admiration from peers and educators alike.

White Sand, in a heartfelt message, extended its deepest condolences to Evangeline’s family, reflecting on her remarkable contributions and the lasting impact she had on the publication. "Her articles were not just well-written but also deeply thoughtful, reflecting her keen insight into the issues that mattered most to her community and fellow students," the statement read.
