Franklin County, Virginia – Early Friday morning, August 9, 2024, a devastating car accident claimed the life of 18-year-old Michael Hunter Stiltner. The accident occurred on Six Mile Post Road, about half a mile west of Calico Road, according to the Virginia State Police.
Michael was driving a 2004 Ford F-350 eastbound when the vehicle veered off the right side of the road and collided with a tree. Unfortunately, he was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash and sustained fatal injuries. Emergency responders arrived quickly but were unable to save him, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
