Tragic Death of Grace Vallance in Greece Devastates Durham Dodgers Netball Club and Community

Grace Vallance, Durham, UK – The Durham Dodgers Netball Club and the local community are mourning the tragic death of Grace Vallance, a beloved member and "Super Shooter," who passed away in an accident while on holiday in Greece. Grace’s passing has left a profound void among her teammates, friends, and family.

The Durham Dodgers Netball Club shared the heartbreaking news on social media, expressing their deep sorrow and condolences to Grace’s family. "It is with our deepest regret to share some devastating news. Our beautiful friend and fellow player Grace Vallance has sadly died in a tragic accident on holiday. Our Club sends love and condolences to Grace’s family at this difficult time. RIP Super Shooter, our Beautiful Angel Grace," read the post.

In honor of Grace, the club announced a donation to Mind, a charity close to her heart, and offered support to those affected by this tragic event.

The outpouring of grief and support on social media has been immense. The Liberty Park Netball Team posted, "We are so sorry to hear such sad news. All our thoughts are with you at this difficult time. Sending love to you all xx," while Tracey Todd added, "So sorry to hear this! Sending lots of love from Liberty Park Limes!"

Other local clubs and community members also expressed their condolences. The Netball in North Durham and Tyne & Wear stated, "So sorry to hear this. England Netball North East send love to you all x," and the Consett Steelers conveyed, "Sending our deepest condolences to Grace’s family, friends, and all at Durham Dodgers Netball Club. Our thoughts are with you all. x."

Kate Elizabeth, Linda Johnson, and Ravens North East Netball Club joined in, sending their thoughts and prayers. "This is so sad! Thinking of Grace’s family and friends at this difficult time," wrote Linda Johnson. "Sending love to you all x," echoed the Ravens North East Netball Club.

The Stanley Storm Netball Club and June Corrigan added their messages of sympathy, with June writing, "So very sorry. Sending tons of love to you all xx." Amy C Mcculloch also shared her sorrow, saying, "So sorry to see this sad news thinking of all the Dodgers x."

Grace Vallance’s unexpected passing has deeply affected everyone who knew her, both within and outside the netball community. Her memory will be honored through the club’s donation and the continued support for each other during this difficult time.
