Tragic Discovery of 14-Year-Old Travez Washington’s Body in Baton Rouge Draws Community’s Grief and Prayers

Baton Rouge, Louisiana – The community is in mourning following the tragic death of 14-year-old Travez Washington, whose body was discovered in a ditch near the intersection of Dayton Street and Interstate 1. The Baton Rouge Police Department announced the devastating news on Friday, August 9, 2024.

Travez Washington was found with multiple gunshot wounds on Thursday, prompting an ongoing investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death.
