Trevor Duncan, Pompano Beach Resident, Passes Away at 21 Due to Heart Failure; Family Seeks Support for Funeral

Pompano Beach, Florida – Trevor Duncan, a 21-year-old resident of Pompano Beach, tragically passed away due to heart failure. Trevor was found unresponsive on the morning of August 25, 2024, when his mother, Timekka Horton, was leaving for work. His sudden death has left his family and friends devastated.

Trevor was a healthy young man and a devoted father to his twins, who recently turned one year old. The loss is especially heartbreaking as his children will never have the chance to know their father. Timekka Horton expressed her profound grief, stating, "There’s nothing left to life for me. For I have also died, in my heart, soul, mind."

In honor of Trevor’s memory, a GoFundMe campaign has been organized by Timekka Horton to help cover the funeral expenses. The fundraiser, titled "Help Honor Trevor Duncan’s Memory," has raised $1,525 out of a $35,000 goal so far, with contributions from donors such as Karen Meyers, who gave $1,500, and Terry Hernandez, who donated $25.

Timekka Horton has reached out to the community for support, emphasizing the financial burden the family is facing. She noted, "Any contribution you can make towards covering the funeral cost would deeply be appreciated."

On Facebook, people have shared their thoughts and condolences. Miss Foxie Brown posted, "In Honor of Trevor, please donate if you can. All proceeds will go towards his funeral."

Trevor Duncan’s passing has left an irreplaceable void in the lives of his loved ones, who are now focused on honoring his memory and laying him to rest in peace.
