Tunapuna, Trinidad and Tobago – The family of 24-year-old Akel Greene is urgently seeking help from the community after he went missing on Friday, August 23, 2024. Akel was last seen in the evening at City Gate in Port of Spain.
Concerns are mounting as family members have not heard from Akel since Friday, prompting them to file a missing person report at the Chaguanas police station. The Hunters Search and Rescue Team, led by Commander Shamsudeen Ayube, has joined the efforts to locate Akel.
The team is urging anyone with information that could lead to Akel’s safe return to contact the Anti-Kidnapping Unit or reach out directly to the search team at 477-2031. The public is also encouraged to share this information widely to assist in the search.
On Facebook, several individuals have shared their thoughts and prayers for Akel’s safe return. Cara B Freeman Rampersant posted, “Is this Tupac?” while Patricia Michelle Lopez also shared her concern.
The family remains hopeful that Akel will be found soon and is deeply grateful for any assistance the community can provide in bringing him home safely.
