Tyler Resident Tony Flores Garcia Passes Away After Battling Multiple Health Issues, Family Seeks Support for Funeral Expenses

Tyler, Texas – Tony Flores Garcia, a beloved resident of Tyler, passed away early Monday morning after a prolonged battle with diabetes, kidney failure, and heart complications. He was known to many in the community as a kind and striving individual who touched the lives of those around him.

Tony’s funeral services are scheduled for this Friday, August 30, at 2 p.m. at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home on Highway 64. His family, including his son Marco Flores, is organizing a fundraiser to cover the funeral expenses not covered by his burial policy.

As of today, the fundraiser has raised $170 out of the $5,000 goal, with donations from supporters such as Ramferi Mata, Coby Broussard, and Weldon Cook. The family is asking for any amount of support to help them during this difficult time.

Marco Flores shared, "My dad went to be with the Lord early Monday morning. We are deeply grateful for any assistance and pray that God blesses everyone who is able to lend a helping hand."

The community is encouraged to contribute to the Tony Flores Garcia Funeral Fund to help the family honor Tony’s memory and lay him to rest.
