Urgent Appeal for Information as Dorset Police Search for Missing Teenager Ashley Falshaw-Skelly in Bournemouth

Bournemouth, Dorset – The search continues for 16-year-old Ashley Falshaw-Skelly, who has been missing since Tuesday, August 6, 2024. Dorset Police are urgently appealing for information from the public to help locate the missing teenager, who was last seen in St James’ Square around 1:40 p.m.

Ashley, who is described as five feet nine inches tall with a large build and short brown hair, was last seen wearing a grey jumper, dark tracksuit bottoms, and black trainers. He is known to frequent the Poole and Bournemouth town centre areas.

Police Constable Jack Dunford, of Dorset Police’s Missing Person Support Team, expressed concern for Ashley’s safety, stating, "Ashley has not returned home for quite some time now, and we are keen to find him and make sure he is safe and well. I am appealing to anyone with information regarding his whereabouts to please contact us. I would also like to appeal directly to Ashley to please make contact with us and let us know where you are. We just want to ensure that you are OK."

The appeal has sparked a wave of social media activity, with numerous individuals sharing their concern and support. Violet Foster posted, "Come on, boy, phone home—family worried about you." Roxy Aplin mentioned seeing Ashley on Monday in the lower gardens playing frisbee with a group, adding a potential lead for the investigation. Others, like Val Krol, Katherine Avery, and Ashleigh Taylor, have shared the appeal across various community groups dedicated to missing people and local alerts.
