Urgent Appeal to Find Missing St. Thomas Resident Suzette Clark, Last Seen on August 21

St. Thomas, Jamaica – The family and community are urgently seeking help in locating Suzette Clark, a 52-year-old resident of the South Haven Scheme in St. Thomas, Jamaica, who has been missing since the early hours of Wednesday, August 21, 2024.

Suzette was last seen leaving her home at 152 East Finchley Drive Southeast between 2:30 am and 3:00 am to meet a taxi driver who regularly drove her to her job at D&G in Spanish Town, St. Catherine, where she has worked for the past 15 years. According to the taxi driver, Suzette texted him that she was on her way to the usual pickup spot, but she never arrived. He reported driving down the road in search of her, but she was nowhere to be found.

The alarm was raised when her workplace contacted her family on Friday, August 23, after she had missed two days of work without any communication. Since then, there has been no trace of Suzette, and the Yallahs Police Station has posted a Missing Person Flyer on social media, urging the public to assist in locating her.

However, there are concerns that the police investigation has stalled, prompting Suzette’s family and friends to take to social media to amplify their plea for help. Lushan James, a family member, posted on Facebook, "Help Us Find Suzette Clark Please!!!!" emphasizing the urgency of the situation and calling for widespread sharing of the missing person notice.

The community is rallying to spread the word, with the hope that someone may have seen or heard something that could lead to Suzette’s safe return. Anyone with information about Suzette’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Yallahs Police Station immediately.

As the search continues, the outpouring of support on social media highlights the desperation and hope of Suzette’s loved ones as they wait for any news about her whereabouts.
