Urgent Search for 10-Year-Old Dallas Jenkins in Dallas, Texas, After Late-Night Disappearance

Dallas, Texas – The Dallas Police Department is urgently seeking the public’s help in locating Dallas Jenkins, a 10-year-old girl who has been reported missing. Dallas was last seen on August 23, 2024, around 11:40 PM, in the 12500 block of Greenville Avenue, walking southbound.

Dallas Jenkins is described as a Black female with brown eyes and a long black ponytail. She is approximately 4 feet 11 inches tall and weighs about 75 pounds. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a yellow shirt, blue jeans, tie-dyed Crocs, and a pink bonnet.

The community has responded with concern and prayers for Dallas’s safe return. Kathy Conner Sankey posted, “Prayers this child is found safe. No child 10yrs old should be out that late or alone. Should have been in bed, where’s her parents at.” Similarly, Marie Lufkin expressed, “OK, so I pray that the girls found safe but what was a 10-year-old doing out that time and night? Was she with anybody? Was she by herself? What did people see? I don’t understand.”

Other residents have shared their hopes for Dallas’s safety. Sandy Lewis wrote, “Prayers she is found safe,” while Yasmin Dager Leyton added, “Praying she is found quickly and safely.” Janet Coffey echoed these sentiments, saying, “Praying she is found quickly and safe.”

The police are urging anyone with information about Dallas Jenkins’s whereabouts to contact them immediately at 911 or (214) 671-4268, referencing case number 130395-2024. The community’s support and vigilance are crucial as efforts continue to bring Dallas home safely.
