Waverly, Missouri – The community is deeply concerned as the search intensifies for Nathan "Nate" Alan Thompson, who has been missing since Saturday, August 10, 2024. Nathan was last seen by his wife on that day, but later reports indicate that he was seen leaving Casey’s General Store in Waverly, Missouri, in his red Chevy Monte Carlo during the early morning hours of August 11.
Nathan Thompson, 43, is a Caucasian male standing 5 feet 10 inches tall with green eyes, a bald head, and distinctive dark facial hair. He is also notable for his extensive tattoos, including a large TCB Skull on the back of his head, full sleeve tattoos on both arms, and another sleeve on his right leg. At the time of his disappearance, Nathan was wearing a white tank top, tan shorts, white Nike Shox, and a silver chain necklace.
Authorities are particularly worried about Nathan’s well-being, as it has been reported that he was experiencing changes in his mental health and may be suicidal. Adding to the concern, Nathan’s phone and wallet were left at his residence, and his phone was turned off, leaving no clues about his intended destination or direction.
The Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office and the Missouri State Highway Patrol Missing Persons Unit are actively involved in the search for Nathan.
