Urgent Search Underway for Missing 11-Year-Old Kyle Johnson in Corinth, Mississippi

Corinth, Mississippi – The Corinth community is rallying together as search efforts intensify for 11-year-old Kyle Johnson, who was reported missing on August 9, 2024. Kyle was last seen at approximately 2:15 p.m. near 24 CR 330A, where he walked into the surrounding woods.

Kyle is described as being 5 feet tall, weighing around 130 pounds, and was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, khaki shorts, and black shoes. He may be accompanied by two dogs: a black Pit Mix and a brown Collie Mix.

The Alcorn County Sheriff’s Office is spearheading the search, with local volunteers and specialized units scouring the wooded areas. The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation and other state agencies have joined the effort, highlighting the seriousness of the situation.

The community’s involvement is crucial. Residents in the Corinth area are urged to remain vigilant and report any information that could assist in finding Kyle. Authorities emphasize that local knowledge could be instrumental in locating the missing child.
