Toppenish, Washington – A community is rallying together in a desperate search for 15-year-old Ulises Santana, who went missing early this morning, Thursday, August 22, 2024. Ulises, affectionately known as "Uly" by his family and friends, was last seen leaving his home on Satus Avenue at around 3:00 AM. His disappearance has sparked an outpouring of concern and prayers from those who know him.
According to a Facebook post by Stephanie Sabalza, Ulises was picked up by an unknown pickup truck in the alley next to his home, and that was the last time anyone saw him. The family fears that he could be in Western Washington, in areas such as Seattle, Tacoma, Federal Way, or Kent, or possibly in the Yakima Valley, including towns like Granger, Sunnyside, and Zillah. There is also concern that he might have traveled to Oregon.
Family members are pleading with the public for any information that could lead to his safe return. Ulises has always been in contact with his family, even during times when he didn’t want to disclose his whereabouts, making this sudden silence especially alarming.
The Facebook community has responded with numerous supportive messages. Juan Nunez expressed his concern, saying, "Dios mío que se encuentre bien Ulises." Sophie Sophie added, "Primero Dios aparezca pronto tu hermano, bendiciones," while Marielena Nuñez encouraged the family not to lose hope, "No perdamos la fe mami y sigamos rogando a Dios que lo proteja de todo lo malo y regrese a casa sano y salvo!"
Other family and friends echoed these sentiments, with comments like "Primeramente Dios pronto estará en casita con su familia," from Lucia Nuñez Sabalza, and "Estamos con Tigo prima estaremos pidiendo mucho a Dios por qué tu Hermano pronto se comunique con ustedes," from Itzel León Zabalza.
The community’s prayers and hopes are for Ulises to return home safely. His family continues to search tirelessly and urges anyone with information to come forward. As the hours pass, the urgency grows, and the family asks for everyone’s help in bringing Ulises back home.
For those in the Toppenish and surrounding areas, please keep an eye out and report any sightings or information to local authorities immediately. The family thanks everyone for their support during this difficult time.
