Urgent Search Underway for Missing 4-Year-Old Kapson David in 9mile Makana, Community Appeals for Information

9mile Makana, Papua New Guinea – The local community is rallying together after the sudden disappearance of 4-year-old Kapson David, who was last seen on the evening of August 17, 2024. The young boy, of Western and Simbu origin, was wearing a white round-neck T-shirt and blue shorts when he went missing around 8:30 PM in the 9mile Makana area.

His family, particularly his father, David Wex, is urgently appealing to anyone with information about Kapson’s whereabouts. They have requested that anyone who may have seen Kapson or knows where he might be to come forward. The family has offered a reward for his safe return and can be contacted at the provided phone numbers.

The community has taken to social media to spread the word and assist in the search. A post by PNG Daily Local on Facebook highlighted the urgency of the situation, asking for the community’s help in finding the missing child.

Joe Gignamai Mondo also shared the appeal on Facebook, emphasizing the need for collective action to bring Kapson back home safely.

The community’s outpouring of concern reflects the gravity of the situation, as everyone hopes for the young boy’s swift and safe return. The search efforts continue, with the local residents and authorities working together to locate Kapson.
