Bayswater, August 12, 2024 – The community is in a state of concern following the disappearance of 8-year-old Mark Chalzen, who was last seen on the morning of August 11, 2024, near the 7/11 store in Bayswater, close to Yul Merchandise. Mark, born on November 1, 2014, has not been seen since, and his family is desperate for any information that could help locate him.

Mark’s mother, Fatima Dacalos, has been tirelessly reaching out to the community, urging anyone with information to come forward. She has provided her contact numbers, 0905-440-6411 and Barangay Dumlog # 349-3934, hoping that someone might have seen or heard something that could lead to her son’s safe return.

The news of Mark’s disappearance has deeply affected the local community, with many taking to Facebook to express their concern and offer support. Aj Candia, a community member, posted, "Cge Mani bayswater," while Perla Patiluna commented, "Taga dn mana paa," highlighting the growing anxiety among residents. Another concerned individual, Michael Canada, shared, "Hala oi, na unsa namn ta aneh..," reflecting the shock and fear that has gripped the area.

Glaiza Mabala Mabia, addressing Mark’s mother directly, wrote, "Mam f ever makita na ang bata update pud mam pra mahupay pud apil kabalaka nmo sa mga mama…." This sentiment echoes the collective hope that Mark will be found safe and sound.
