Northern Arizona, August 22, 2024 – Authorities in northern Arizona are intensifying their search efforts for two 8-year-old boys who went missing in separate incidents on Wednesday night. One of the missing children, Tzion Maron, disappeared near the entrance of the Lava River Caves, a popular tourist destination in the region.
The Coconino County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) issued an Amber Alert after Tzion became separated from his family around 6:15 p.m. Tzion is described as a white male, just over 4 feet tall, weighing approximately 50 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a gray shirt with blue stripes, navy blue pants, and sneakers.
In a parallel search operation, another Amber Alert has been issued for Canyon Hartley, who was last seen at Grand Canyon National Park. Both boys’ disappearances have prompted a large-scale search involving local law enforcement and park officials.
Authorities are urging the public to remain vigilant and report any information that could help locate Tzion Maron and Canyon Hartley. The community is rallying in support, hoping for the safe return of both children.
