Kimberley, South Africa – The Roodepan SAPS is urgently seeking the public’s help in locating 73-year-old Richard Samuel Steenkamp, who has been missing since Friday, August 16, 2024. Richard was last seen in the C-Block Shanties on Freezia Street in Ivory Park, Roodepan. According to authorities, Richard, who suffers from Alzheimer’s disease, was last spotted wearing a black and white Orlando Pirates t-shirt, black tracksuit pants, and blue and white striped Adidas sandals with white and black socks.
The family reported Richard missing over the weekend, triggering a search operation led by Detective Captain Deon Rheeder. The police are appealing to anyone with information on his whereabouts to come forward.
