Urgent Search Underway for Missing Olifantshoek Resident, Eunice Shirindza, Last Seen After Final Exam in Giyani Town

Olifantshoek, South Africa – The South African Police Service (SAPS) in Hlanganani, Mopani District, is urgently seeking public assistance to locate Eunice Shirindza, a 40-year-old woman who has been missing since July 8, 2024. Eunice, a resident of Olifantshoek village, was last seen after completing her final examination at FET College in Belleview village. She reportedly departed for Giyani Town but has not been seen since.

Efforts to locate Eunice have so far been unsuccessful, despite searches among her relatives, friends, and surrounding areas. There is no clear description of the clothes she was wearing at the time of her disappearance, adding to the difficulty in locating her.

The police are appealing to the community for any information that could assist in reuniting Eunice with her family. Individuals with relevant information are encouraged to contact Investigation Officer Sergeant Kate Mahani at 0823199686, or to use the Crime Stop number at 0860010111. Alternatively, tips can be submitted via the MySAPS App or the nearest police station.

The community has expressed their concern and support on social media. Zacky Macaire commented, "May she be found and reconciled with her loved ones. Amen." Meanwhile, Saha Nami Na shared a link to recently released CCTV footage from the area, which has sparked further discussion and hope for clues.

The situation remains tense as the search continues, with Eunice’s family and community anxiously awaiting any news. The SAPS has reiterated the importance of public cooperation in efforts to locate Eunice and bring her home safely.
