Urgent Search Underway for Missing Person Myron Carl Peters in Standing Rock, New Mexico, After Disappearance from Treatment Center

Standing Rock, New Mexico – The Navajo Police Department is intensifying efforts to locate 33-year-old Myron Carl Peters, who has been missing since Friday, August 9, 2024. Myron was last seen in Standing Rock, New Mexico, shortly after being released from the Na’Nizhoozhi Center, Inc. (NCI), a substance abuse treatment facility in Gallup, New Mexico, on Monday, August 12, 2024.

Myron is described as a male, 5’7” tall, weighing 200 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes. His sudden disappearance has raised concerns among family and friends, especially given the circumstances surrounding his recent release from the treatment center.

The Navajo Police Department has asked the public for any information that might assist in locating Myron. If you have seen him or have any knowledge of his whereabouts, you are urged to contact the Navajo Police Department Crownpoint District at (505) 786-2050/2051.
