Urgent Search Underway for Missing Sebokeng Resident Matshodiso Nthonyane, Last Seen in Zone 6

Sebokeng, South Africa – Authorities and community members are urgently searching for Matshodiso Nthonyane, a resident of Zone 3, Sebokeng, who has been missing since Monday, August 11, 2024. Matshodiso, who was staying with her boyfriend in Zone 6, Sebokeng, left behind her two children, including a one-year-old baby, with her friend Lebo in Evaton.

Described as slightly tall with relaxed black hair often covered with a black weave, Matshodiso is light in complexion and fluent in Sesotho. Her sudden disappearance has raised concern, prompting a community-wide alert and a call for any information that might lead to her safe return.

Facebook has been flooded with messages of concern and prayers for Matshodiso. Lerato Lira Maphutse posted, "May she return home safe," while Dorothy Sheila Stout Selemela expressed, "Praying for her safe return home. May my God intervene."

The circumstances of her disappearance remain unclear, with some community members urging a focus on her boyfriend for potential leads. Tshepo Themba suggested, "Where is the boyfriend? It is where we should start with the help."
