Urgent Search Underway in Hubbard for Missing 85-Year-Old Man with Dementia, Michael Centrella

Hubbard, Ohio – Authorities are urgently seeking public assistance in locating 85-year-old Michael Centrella, who has been missing since Thursday morning. Centrella, who suffers from dementia, was last seen leaving his home on Trails Edge at approximately 10:00 a.m. in a silver 2012 Jeep Compass with the license plate number JYB9819. He has not returned since, raising concerns for his safety.

Centrella is described as a white male, standing 5’9” tall and weighing around 170 pounds, with grey hair and brown eyes. Due to his medical condition, authorities are particularly worried about his well-being.

Local law enforcement is urging anyone with information on Centrella’s whereabouts or who may have seen his vehicle to contact 911 or the Hubbard Police Department immediately.

The community has taken to social media to spread the word about Centrella’s disappearance. A post from the True Crime with Megan Facebook page has been widely shared, emphasizing the need for vigilance in helping to locate him. The post reads, "Authorities in Hubbard are asking for help in locating a man with dementia who has been declared missing… If you see him or his vehicle, please call 911."

As the search intensifies, the Hubbard community is rallying together in hopes of a safe return for Michael Centrella.
