Victoria Lueras’ Family in Las Cruces Organizes Fundraiser for Unexpected Funeral Expenses

Las Cruces, New Mexico – The family of Victoria Lueras, who passed away unexpectedly, is seeking community support to cover her funeral expenses. A GoFundMe campaign, organized by her daughters, including Lilianna Sanchez, was launched on August 19, 2024, to help with the costs of the service, cremation, burial, and headstone, as well as to support the family during this difficult time.

The fundraiser has so far raised $1,525 of its $7,000 goal, with contributions from 19 donors. The largest donation of $250 was made by the NKBA New Mexico Chapter, while Diana Zamora and Orlando R. Paz were also among the early supporters with donations of $100 each.

In a heartfelt message on the GoFundMe page, Victoria’s daughters described her as a beautiful person with a big heart, saying, "She had the biggest heart, maybe too big for this world. We will always love her and miss her for the rest of our days."

The family expressed their desire to honor Victoria’s memory in the best way possible, allowing her family and friends to say goodbye. They have also invited donors to share their memories of Victoria, which they hope to read and cherish.

On Facebook, Anna Lueras-Kariem expressed gratitude for the support, posting, "For my granddaughters & great grand babies. Thank you for your kind donations."

The family continues to seek donations and moral support from the community to help them navigate this challenging time and ensure a proper farewell for Victoria Lueras.
