Virginia State Police Issues Critical Missing Adult Alert for 101-Year-Old Dorothy Sue Wallace in Dinwiddie County

Dinwiddie County, Virginia – The Dinwiddie County Sheriff’s Office and Virginia State Police have issued a critical missing adult alert for Dorothy Sue Wallace, a 101-year-old woman who was last seen on August 15, 2024. Wallace, a Black female, is 5’4" tall, weighs 150 pounds, has brown eyes, gray hair, and was possibly wearing a polka dot hat and glasses at the time of her disappearance.

She was last seen driving a gray 2002 Honda Odyssey with Virginia plates UJJ1500 on Northbound Route 1 at Sturgeon Road in Brunswick County. Authorities have expressed concern that her disappearance poses a credible threat to her health and safety.

The Dinwiddie County Sheriff’s Office is urging anyone with information about Wallace’s whereabouts to contact their 24/7 dispatch line at (804) 469-4550 or call 911 immediately.

On social media, concerned community members have expressed their prayers and hopes for Wallace’s safe return. Pamela Struss commented, "I pray for her safe return," while Karen N Donald echoed similar sentiments, posting, "Prayers for safe return." Other users, like Millie Perdue, advised families to take precautionary measures, stating, "PLEASE FOLKS. The community is anxiously awaiting updates as authorities continue their search for Dorothy Sue Wallace.
