Washington County Authorities Seek Public Assistance in Locating Missing 12-Year-Old Isabella Rain Chitty from Chipley, Florida

Washington County, FL – The Washington County Sheriff’s Office has issued an urgent plea to the public for assistance in locating Isabella Rain Chitty, a 12-year-old girl who was reported missing late last night. According to authorities, Isabella was last seen leaving her home on First Street in Chipley, Florida, at approximately 10 p.m. on Sunday, August 11, 2024. She was possibly wearing black clothing and carrying a black Adidas backpack at the time of her disappearance.

As the search intensifies, many community members have taken to social media to express their concerns and prayers for Isabella’s safe return. Cori Jerome, who identified herself as the mother of Isabella’s best friend, urged anyone with information to come forward, stating, "If you know anything and would rather contact me, please do so. She is only 12, y’all… if you see her, tell her her family and friends want her home."

Others in the community are also rallying behind Isabella’s family. Jessica Miller wrote, "Praying for her safety," while Kelly Renee simply posted, "Prayers!" Tabatha Spivey added her hopes, commenting, "Praying she is located safe." The collective concern is palpable as the hours pass without any confirmed sightings of the young girl.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office is leading the investigation and has urged anyone with information on Isabella’s whereabouts to contact them immediately at 850-638-6111 or reach out to any other law enforcement agency.
