Washington D.C. Community Urged to Help Locate Missing Woman, Le’tisha Stancil, Last Seen on Minnesota Avenue

Washington, D.C. – The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating 34-year-old Le’tisha Stancil, who has been missing since Monday, August 5, 2024. She was last seen around 12:00 PM in the 2200 block of Minnesota Avenue, Southeast.

Le’tisha Stancil is described as a Black female, 6 feet tall, weighing 150 pounds, with brown eyes and short black hair. Unfortunately, the clothing she was last seen wearing is unknown. The incident was reported on August 9, 2024, and the case is currently being handled by the Youth and Family Services Division of the Metropolitan Police Department.

The Washington Metropolitan Police Department has issued a critical missing person alert and is urging anyone with information regarding Le’tisha’s whereabouts to come forward. They can contact the Youth and Family Services Division at (202) 576-6768 or the Real Time Crime Center at (202) 727-9099. Additionally, tips can be sent via text to 50411.
