Watertown Police Successfully Locate Missing Woman, Flayer Sonia, After Early Morning Search

Watertown, Massachusetts – Flayer Sonia, who was reported missing early Monday morning, has been found safe, according to the Watertown Police Department. Sonia was last seen leaving her home around 3:00 am and was believed to be in the Medford/Malden area later that day. The Watertown Police Department issued a missing person alert, urging the community to help locate her.

Sonia, approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall with a thin build and black hair slightly longer than shoulder length, was the subject of a widespread search effort. The police department expressed gratitude to community members who assisted by keeping an eye out and providing information.

The news of Sonia’s safe recovery has been met with relief and celebration. Maureen LaRose commented on Facebook, "Wonderful news," while Dave Hanrahan praised the police department’s efforts, stating, "Great work force!"
