Wendy Schaff of Everett, Washington Passes Away Amid Family Mourning; Tributes Pour In on Social Media

Wendy Schaff, a resident of Everett, Washington, has passed away unexpectedly, as confirmed in an online obituary on Sunday, August 18, 2024. Wendy, born on April 29, 1968, had been struggling with depression, particularly after the loss of her father on July 19th and a dear friend in June. Her passing has left her family and friends heartbroken.

Wendy’s mother, Georgina Schaff, shared the devastating news on Facebook, expressing the profound sorrow of losing her "first born." According to Georgina, Wendy was found unresponsive beside her bed, and despite efforts to revive her through CPR, she could not be saved. The cause of death is still under investigation, with an autopsy underway to determine if an overdose or a dangerous interaction between her depression medication and alcohol was involved.

The Schaff family is overwhelmed with grief, with Georgina noting that "there is a large hole in all hearts." Wendy had recently spent time with her mother in Yuma before returning to Seattle, where she had planned to resume work. Tragically, her return to normalcy was cut short by her untimely death.

The news of Wendy’s passing has prompted an outpouring of condolences and tributes on social media. Tammy Lynn, a relative, expressed her devastation upon hearing the news, recalling how she had recently reconnected with Wendy. Erin Crooks, Carol Hendricks, and others also offered their prayers and support to the grieving family. Jenny Verador, a close friend, called Wendy "the best human being" and assured Georgina that she would be there for the family during this difficult time.

Wendy Schaff was a beloved member of her community, known for her kind heart and caring nature. She attended Highline High School and studied at various institutions, including Highline Community College and the Barbazon School of Modeling. Wendy worked at The Boeing Company, where she was respected and admired by her colleagues.

As the family waits for answers and comes to terms with their loss, they are surrounded by the love and support of those who knew and cherished Wendy.
