Wichita Community in Shock as Search for Missing Ashley Copp Intensifies; Last Seen at QuikTrip on Broadway

Wichita, Kansas – The Wichita community is deeply concerned as the search for 27-year-old Ashley Copp, who has been missing since August 5, 2024, continues. Ashley was last heard from at 1:20 p.m. when she made a phone call from the QuikTrip on Broadway in Wichita, asking for a ride. Since that call, no one has heard from her.

Ashley, who stands 5’5" and weighs 215 pounds, has brown hair, which may be dyed black, and brown eyes. She is also recognized by her distinctive tattoos, including a sun on her upper left chest and a crescent moon and stars on her upper right chest.

The Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI) and the Wichita Police Department are actively involved in the search, urging anyone with information to come forward by contacting the Wichita Police Department at 316-268-4181 or 316-268-4111, or the KBI at 785-296-4017.

The community has taken to social media to express their concern and hope for Ashley’s safe return. Tammy Fye, who knew Ashley personally, shared on Facebook, "Oh wow, hopefully she is safe somewhere. She was my roommate at sober living." This sentiment was echoed by many others, with Carissa Hedrick writing, "Prayers she is found safe!" and Rachel Allen adding, "Praying she is found safe. This breaks my heart. Especially in that area."

Another Facebook user, Gloria Scobee, mentioned, "Someone said she was last seen at the QT on Kellogg and Broadway." The QuikTrip location has become a focal point in the search, as it was the last known place Ashley was seen.

As the days pass, the community remains hopeful, with prayers and messages flooding social media. Debra Bennett posted, "Hope she is found safe," while Lindsey Gore expressed, "Please be found safe." The outpouring of support underscores the community’s deep concern and the urgency to find Ashley.

The disappearance of Ashley Copp has not only alarmed Wichita residents but has also drawn attention from wider networks, with posts being shared far beyond Kansas. Whitedove Dahlin shared the missing person alert in Minnesota, emphasizing the widespread impact of this case.

Authorities and the community continue to search for answers, holding onto the hope that Ashley will be found safe and soon reunited with her loved ones.
