Wierdabruig Resident Claudia Oosthuizen Missing Since Early August, Community Urged to Assist in Search

Wierdabruig, Gauteng – The search continues for Claudia Oosthuizen, a 52-year-old resident of Wierdabruig, who has been missing since August 4, 2024. Claudia, who is described as short and chubby with long black hair, was last seen leaving her residence at 18:00 to visit a shop in Danville, Pretoria. She has not been seen or heard from since.

Claudia is medically vulnerable, which raises further concerns for her well-being. She was last seen wearing white pants and a flowered top. The Wierdabruig community and surrounding areas are being urged to assist in the search efforts.

The Pink Ladies Organization, a well-known NGO dedicated to finding missing persons, has also been involved in the case. They have issued a public appeal for information and are coordinating with local authorities. The organization shared the alert on their social media platforms, including Facebook.

Several individuals have expressed their concern and hopes for Claudia’s safe return on Facebook. Genevieve Gerber shared her thoughts, writing, “Hoping for her safe return,” while Elizabeth du Toit added, “Praying for her safety.” Valerie Ronquest echoed these sentiments, commenting, “Please, let her be found soon.”

Anyone with information regarding Claudia Oosthuizen’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Wierdabrug SAPS at 012 685 0015, the nationwide SAPS emergency line at 08600 10111, or the Pink Ladies Organization at 072 214 7439 via WhatsApp.

The community remains hopeful for Claudia’s safe return and continues to rally around her family during this difficult time.
