Windsor Community Prays for Safe Return of Missing 28-Year-Old Ian Valiquette-Nakhoul, Last Seen on Jefferson Avenue

Windsor, Ontario – The Windsor Police Service is actively seeking assistance from the public in locating 28-year-old Ian Valiquette-Nakhoul, who was last seen around 2 p.m. on August 10, 2024, in the 3000 block of Jefferson Avenue. Ian is described as a white male, 5’8" tall, weighing approximately 170 pounds, with short black hair. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a white t-shirt and white and black "Bench" jogging pants.

As the search continues, the community has expressed their concern and support for Ian and his family through social media. Lisa Harris, a local resident, simply wrote "Prayers," reflecting the sentiment shared by many. Lupita Bonita echoed this with a similar post, "Prayers."

Meanwhile, Christopher Heeley speculated on Ian’s whereabouts, saying, "I think he is in Chatham." In response, Bev Claus urged him to take action, advising, "If that’s what you think then call the Windsor police and let them know."

The urgency and hope for Ian’s safe return are palpable across social media, with many like Angela Sansotta DeRose also offering their prayers, writing, "Prayers for a safe return."

The Windsor Police have emphasized the importance of any information that could lead to finding Ian. Anyone with knowledge of his whereabouts is urged to contact the authorities immediately. The entire community remains on edge, hoping for good news as the search continues.
