Winnipeg, Manitoba – The Winnipeg Police Service is urgently requesting public assistance in locating 40-year-old Sterling McKay, who has been reported missing since Thursday, August 8th, 2024. McKay was last seen at 5:30 p.m. in the area of Claremont Avenue and St. Mary’s Road.
McKay is known to frequent the riverbanks of Winnipeg and was last seen wearing a khaki baseball cap, a beige and black checkered zip-up jacket, black pants, and light blue canvas sneakers with white stripes. He is described as 5’9” tall, with a slim build, shaggy black hair, brown eyes, and a slight moustache. McKay uses a black walker.
The police have expressed concern for McKay’s wellbeing and are encouraging anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact the Winnipeg Police Service Missing Persons Unit at 986-6250.
