Pennsylvania High School Coach Ryan Peck Dies in Tragic Car Accident, Forks Township Community Mourns

Ryan Peck, 34, of Forks Township, Pennsylvania, was tragically killed in a car accident on Thursday, August 15, 2024. According to the Northampton County Coroner’s office, Peck died from blunt force injuries sustained in the crash, which occurred near the 5600 Block of Kesslersville Road in Plainfield Township. An investigation into the accident is currently ongoing by the Slate Belt Regional Police and the Northampton County Coroner’s Office.

Peck was a beloved figure in his community, known for his dedication as a high school coach. He was a 2008 graduate of Nazareth Area High School, where he later returned to coach soccer and basketball. He also served as the track and field coach for the varsity middle school program at Pen Argyl High School.

The sudden loss of Ryan Peck has deeply affected his community, with many taking to social media to express their grief. His family and friends have shared heartfelt messages, highlighting the impact he had on their lives.

Kenneth Peck Sr. posted on Facebook, "When I was involved in my accident back in May, Ryan and his family, whom I have known for many years, reached out and told me if we needed any help, just let him know. Anytime that something was needed, I would hit Ryan up on messenger and he would always be there." Ryan Anderson also commented, expressing his gratitude: "You’re welcome. I was just messing with you earlier, and yes, Beth was the real person that did most of the work."

The community continues to mourn the loss of Ryan Peck, who was not only a coach but also a mentor and friend to many. His family has been invited to share funeral details and additional memories, as the Nazareth community comes together to honor his memory.
